I used to be the kind of shipper who saw how Dean and Cas were with each other, and thought, “Well, those two are fucking in love. Now, when they gon’ fuck?”
I’m still sort of that shipper, but not entirely.
People always go on about how Dean and Cas interact with and without each other is cold hard proof that their relationship isn’t platonic, but rather, romantic. Some argue that heavy platonic relationships don’t necessarily need to equate to romance, and Dean and Cas simply share a BFF-type of relationship where they know each other completely and can act gay around each other without it meaning anything.
I’d like to argue that it is all of the above… and then some.
